    Who am I?

An artist who works in a variety of media. I approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way and involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work.

‘I try not to limit my appreciation of art only to the marks that define an object, tell a story or lead one to an intended conclusion. I do things to stretch the imagination and allow the freedom of personal interpretation and judgment’.

I explore the poetry of texture, of shape, of colour and light that envelops us everyday.

My artworks are an investigation into
representations of (seemingly) concrete ages and situations as well as
depictions and ideas that can only be realized in art. With a conceptual
approach, I make works that deal with the documentation of events and the
question of how they can be presented. This is expressed with the help of
physics and technology, not by telling a story or creating a metaphor.

I also base my works on formal associations
that open a unique poetic vein. Multilayered images arise in which the
fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned. By
choosing mainly formal solutions, I try to develop forms that do not follow
logical criteria but are based only on subjective associations and formal
parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations.

A strong point is directly responding to
the surrounding environment and use everyday experiences from the artist as a
starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in
    their original context.
